Funeral Services Held For Douglas Neale, 83

  Funeral services were held for Mr. Douglas Neale, age 83, of Teague at 10:00 
a.m. Friday, April 14, 1995 at the Ricks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at
the Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Tom Prentiss officiating. Mr. Neale was born on 
January 20, 1912 in Teague to Edith and James Frederick Neale. He had lived in 
Teague all of his life. Mr. Neale was a retired Brakeman from the BR1 Railroad 
and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
  Survivors include: 2 sons, Douglas Neale, Jr. of Waco and Fred Neale of Teague; 
1 daughter, Dixie Mills of Mexia; 1 sister, Nina Neale of Sierra Madre, California; 
4 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
Laura Edith Neale on December 3, 1982. 
  Pallbearers were: Bill Mills, Tommy Neale, Paul Mills, Kenneth Rieves, Doug 
Mills, and Shannon Neale.
