Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - Jan. 23, 2004 edition Pearlie Denice Nemons Funeral services for Miss Pearlie Denice Nemons, 30, of Mexia, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in First United Methodist Church-Mexia. The Rev. Jerome McDowell will officiate. Burial will be in Avant Cemetery at Teague, under direction of Clark Manor Funeral Home of Mexia. Family visitation is scheduled for tonight from 6 until 8 o'clock at Clark Manor Funeral Home. Miss Nemons, who was employed at the Mexia State School, was a member of First Baptist Church of Mexia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Nemons. Surviving are a son, Tyvon Freeman; a devoted father, Henry Nemons, and stepmother, Felicia Nemons; Godmother, Carrie Hollin; six sisters - Paulette Cooper, Pam Johnson, Carmen Anderson, Kembresha Kennard, Tiffany Hollin and Winter Hollin; five brothers - Patrick, Earnest and Steven Nemons, Pete Hollin and Corey Rhodes; a devoted aunt, Carrie Horton; friends - Shelid Hodges and Cynthia Roberts; Godmother, Eliza Morgan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Vince Johnson, Lloyd Gillespie, Sherman White, Charles Nemons, Greg Nemons and Jeffery Proctor.
