HENRY LEWIS NEMONS

Henry Lewis Nemons was born on October 12, 1943, in Teague, Texas, to the late 
Ernest and Jessie Nemons. He attended Avant Elementary and Booker T. Washington 
High School. Mr. Nemons accepted Christ at an early age at Avant AME Church. He 
was a faithful member of the 20 Grand Club and other organizations and was 
employed by the Mexia State School and Candy Factory where he retired from both
companies. He was also employed by the Nat Clark Funeral Home.

Lewis was a very outgoing and well known person who will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife Felisha Nemons of Mexia, Texas; his 
sons Patrick Nemons and wife Monica of Mexia, Ernest Ray Nemons of Mexia and 
Steven Nemons of Mexia; his daughter Pamula Johnson of Mexia, his grandchildren,
four sisters and one brother, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and 
friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at the 
First Baptist Church, 500 E. Carthage, in Mexia, Texas. Burial will be at the
Avant AME Church Cemetery.
