Zealuiar Nettles

Funeral services were held June 7 at Gregor Spencer Funeral Chapel in Ft. Worth 
for Zealuiar Nettles.

Viewing was at Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home. Interment was at Cedar Hill 
Cemetery in Mansfield. Officiating at the service was Mrs. Nettles’ grandson 
Chris Nettles.

Mrs. Nettles was born in the Furney Richardson community of Teague and 
graduated from Furney Richardson high school. She moved to Ft. Worth, where she 
started her career as a florist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. C. C. Collins and Mrs. Eldee 
Livingston Collins, and siblings C. J. Collins, Harvey Ray (Noble) Collins, and 
Juanita Powers.

Survivors are children Michael, Gary and Dwight Nettles, and Marilyn Blondene 
Johnson, all of Ft. Worth; brother Boyce Collins and wife, Alberta, Dallas; 
sisters Myrtle Williams, Ft. Worth, Cora Jones, Midland, Rosemary Miles, Atlanta,
GA, and Shirley Moore and husband, E. V., Teague; 13 grandchildren; a number of 
great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home of Teague provided the professional services.
