"Ex-Confederate dies at Winkler

Wiley B. Newman, 84, pioneer resident of this section died at the home of his
daughter.  Mr. Newman was an ex-Confederate, a member of the W. L. Moody camp,
and rarely if ever missed an annual reunion at Fairfield."
