Juanita Mae (Blackwell) Newman

BIOGRAPHY
Juanita Mae Newman, 90, of Fairfield, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 in 
Fairfield. She was born August 11, 1923 in the Chalk Bluff community of McLennan 
County; to parents Edward and Jeffie Shaw Blackwell. In addition to her parents 
she was preceded in death by two children, Sidney Morse and Jimmye Newman Kahrs; 
four brothers and two sisters. She was a long time member of the Wilbur H. 
Bailey VFW Post #5872 Ladies Auxiliary.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Newman; Shotsie Drewry and husband Rick of 
Sunset, LA; a sister, Mattie Kennison of Eddy, TX; eleven grandchildren and 
eighteen great-grandchildren
