FORMER CITIZEN OF TEAGUE TAKES LIFE IN HOUSTON TUESDAY
  Our citizens were shocked Tuesday at the news that Wallace Neyland, aged 36, 
had taken his own life. The act was committed at the home of his sister, Mrs. R. 
L. Hutcheson in Houston. Death was caused by a pistol shot. Burial was in the 
Teague cemetery Wednesday.
  Last Saturday Wallace’s 13-year old daughter, Pauline was buried in Teague, 
papers reporting that she had taken her life at her home in Littlefield, being 
despondent over receiving failing grades at school.
  Wallace was a son of T. H. Neyland, an old and highly respected business man 
of Teague.
