H. Neyland, Wednesday morning for Miss Cora Lee Neyland, who passed away Tuesday morning at 5:15 o'clock, at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 6 days. Pastor J. E. Buttrill of the First Methodist Church was the officiating clergyman. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery at 11:00 o’clock. E. B. Ham funeral service in charge. Pallbearers were H. H. Covington, L. Notley, Wm. J. Stringer, F. B. Peyton, E. E. York, and F. F. Sims. Out of town attendants included: Mrs. Emma Durham and daughter, Miss Mery Durham of Houston; Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Hutcheson of Houston, and Mrs. W. M. Bushnell and Tom Ross Neyland of Fort Worth. She is survived by two cousins, N. W. Bendy of Teague and Mrs. R. C. Fain of Waco; besides nephews and nieces. Miss Neyland had made her home at Colntesneil for more than 50 years, coming to Teague four years ago to make her home with Mr. and Mr. Neyland before Mr. Neyland’s passing. She had remained in the home where she had received constant painstaking care and attention, being an invalid in her room. Her demise concluded a three week’s illness.
