Wynona Kay (Baker) Nikel 

Wynona Kay Baker Nikel, 69, of Fairfield passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 
at Navarro Regional Hospital. 

Services will be 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Fairfield with Mack 
Roller officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Jim Carroll, Curtis Carroll, Malcolm Wood, Ron Pierce, Bob
Wright and Ralph Billings. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Sessions and Joe
Lee Kirgan. 

Mrs. Nikel was born Jan. 7, 1931 in Caney to James S. and Tilda Baker. She 
graduated from Fairfield High School and owned Accessories Etc. Gift Shop in
Fairfield. She had also worked as a secretary for Mobil Oil. 

Mrs. Nikel is survived by her husband, Arbell Nikel of Fairfield; son, Paul 
Nikel of Dallas, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Sandy Jenkins of 
Corsicana; granddaughter, Allison Jenkins of San Antonio; and sisters, Thelma
Carroll of Streetman and Mary Rice of Mexia.
