Debbie Ethridge Nolan  

Funeral services for Debbie Ethridge Nolan, 56, were held Tuesday, August 25 at Bowers 
Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Perry Smith, of Living for the Brand Cowboy Church in 
Athens, officiated. Interment followed the services at Dew Cemetery. 

Visitation was Monday with the family present at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Nolan passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009, in Tyler. She was born in 
Germany, but grew up in Dew and Madisonville where she attended school. Mrs. Nolan 
worked as a L.V.N. with Hospice in the Houston area for several years. She was known 
as the family "caretaker". Mrs. Nolan took care of several family members in their final 
years of life during illness. She was a loving person and laughed a lot. Mrs. Nolan was a 
Baptist. 

She is survived by one son, Donald Belcher of Houston, one sister, Betty John Ethridge 
of Teague, one nephew, John Ethridge of Murchison, two nieces, Nikki Ethridge of 
Murchison and Jennifer Ethridge of Hearne and numerous cousins. Mrs. Nolan was 
preceded in death by her parents, Johnny & Betty Jean Ethridge, and two sisters, 
Katherine Ethridge and Mary D'Anna Ethridge.
