Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Teague Chronicle - Oct. 18, 1918 edition Edward Harris Norman dies Edward Harris Norman, 31 years of age died at his home in Teague, Tues. morning, Oct. 15, at 2:45 oclock of Spanish influenza. At the time of his death he was a salesman in the grocery department of Riley and Ham, coming from Lanely a few years ago to take the position. Mr. Norman is survived by his wife and two children, his father, W.H. Norman, five sisters, Mrs. Will Parrish, Mrs. Tom Johnson, Mrs. W.E. Long of Lanely, Mrs. J.S. Stanley of Tyler, Mrs. J.E. Stringer, Jr. of Teague and three brothers, W.C. Norman of Teague, Henry Norman of Palestine and R.S. Norman of Freestone. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence at 4 oclock Tues. afternoon by Rev. E. M. Francis pastor of First Baptist Church and interment was in city cemetery. The bereaved family and relatives have our sincere sympathy.
