O’Rand Rites

FAIRFIELD—(Spl.)—Funeral services for Mrs. Cassie O’Rand, 87, former resident of 
Fairfield and longtime resident of Teague, were held recently in Teague at 
Lawrence Chapel.

Officiating for the service was Rev. H. L. McKissack. Burial was at Lake Chapel 
near Fairfield.

Survivors include four sons, S. E. O’Rand of Jacksonville, O. R. O’Rand of 
Manhattan, Kansas, A. H. O’Rand of Bakersfield, Calif., and M. C. O’Rand of 
Lafayette, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Rosie Pendley of Dallas, Mrs. Ludie Pendley 
and Mrs. Emma Pendley of Lubbock, Mrs. Lottie Lyles of Greggton and Mrs. Ethel 
Pendley of Shelton, Ariz.; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
