Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Claud W. Outlaw 1933-2012 Claud W. Outlaw, 79, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, November 23 at his residence. Graveside services with miltiary honors were held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, November 27, at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Claud was born April 26, 1933 in Groesbeck to parents Clinton and Deslar Rogers Outlaw. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1970 where he served as a flight engineer. He was also retired from General Dynamics and had also worked for Lockheed-Martin. He had been a resident of Fairfield for ten years, moving from Weatherford, Tx. He was a member of VFW Post #5872 in Fairfield and was past Post Commander of VFW Post #4746 in Weatherford, TX. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Survivors include four children, James W. Outlaw and wife Sherry of Abilene, TX; William A. Outlaw and wife Ann of Ft. Worth, TX; Jerry L. Outlaw and wife Melinda of Lubbock, TX; Laurie A. Boughton and husband Victor of Fairfield; sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; an uncle, A. M. Outlaw of Groesbeck along with many nieces and nephews.
