RUTH OWENS

Funeral Services for Ruth Owens were held Monday, March 15, 2010, in the 
Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 326 Huckaby Street, Fairfield, Texas.  
The pastor, Rev. A. L. Thibodeaux officiated and interment was in the 
Hopewell Cemetery in Fairfield.

Ruth was born February 8, 1927. The Angelic Hosts came for Mrs. Owens in the 
Fairfield East Texas Medical Center on Tuesday morning among loving family 
and devoted friends on March 9, 2010. 

Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, Willie Dexter Owens, Fairfield, TX; 
children, Alice Owens, Fairfield; Willie David Owens and wife, Imogene, 
Teague; Catherine Owens, Ft. Worth; Odell Johnson, Jr. and wife, Sally, Ft.
Worth; Johnny Johnson, Houston; Dorothy Owens Brown and husband, Dexter,
Fairfield; Annie Mae Owens, Fairfield; Debbie Owens Jones and husband, Vince, 
Streetman; Willie James Fuller and wife, Pearl, Daytona, FL; and Lela Mae 
Johnson, Fairfield; Sister, Mary Burns, Ft. Worth; 43 Grandchildren, 109 
Great-Grandchildren, 47 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of other 
relatives and friends.

Moore's Angelic Funeral Home 406 Monroe Street, Teague, Texas, is serving the
Owens Family.
