RICHARD E. PALMER DIES AT DAWSON 

  Richard Ervin Palmer, 18, a former resident of Mexia, died Tuesday in Dawson. 
Funeral rites will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Grove Island A. M. E. Church. 
Burial will be in the Grove Island cemetery. Palmer was born in Mexia on Nov. 
18, 1937 and lived here until a year and a half ago. He is survived by his 
mother, Mrs. Florence Curry, Mexia; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. 
James R. Palmer, of Dawson, and a stepfather, John Curry, Mexia.
