Cyrus William Palmquist

Graveside services were held Wednesday in Huntsville for Cyrus William 
Palmquist, 92, of Lewisville, and formerly of Palestine, who died June 
18 in Justin.

Mr. Palmquist was born Oct. 17, 1913 in Rush City, Minn. to Arthur and 
Ida Neighblom Palmquist. He married Jeanne Ehing who preceded him in 
death in 1984.

Mr. Palmquist served in the United States Navy during World War II, was 
a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and worked as a mail carrier.

He is survived by his sons William L. Palmquist of Flower Mound, and Mark 
P. Palmquist of Fairfield; five grandchildren and six sisters Dorothy 
Nelson, Gertrude Nelson, June Troutman, Marjorie Womac, Mary Alice 
Tornell and Barbara Reed.
