Freestone County, Texas Obits Mexia Daily News - Jul. 31, 2003 edition Billy Dene Pate TEAGUE - Funeral services for Billy Dene (Billy Roy) Pate of Donie, longtime employee of Turner Feed Store in Donie, will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Moore's Angelic Funeral Home. The Rev. Benny Mize, pastor of First Baptist Church-Fairfield, will officiate. Burial will be in Old Springseat Cemetery at Donie. Mr. Pate died last Saturday at his residence. He attended Teague High School. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Surviving are his parents, R.E. and Lorine Pate of Donie; three sisters - Verline Seals of Donie, Lora Becks of Lufkin, and Dorothy Dawkins and husband Craig of Mexia; a niece, Barbara Seals, stationed with the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Virginia; four brothers - R.E. Pate and wife Linda of Waco, J.D. Pate and Kenneth Pate, both of Donie, and Joe Pate of Fort Worth; and several aunts, uncles and nephews.
