The Bryan/College Station Eagle Minnie Pearl Pate March 1, 1919 — July 31, 2000 CENTERVILLE — Services for Minnie Pearl Pate, 81, of Buffalo are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Calvary Christian Center west of Oakwood on Hwy. 79. The Rev. Jack Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Parker Cemetery in the Flo community. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville and from 11 a.m. to the time of the services Thursday at the Calvary Christian Center. Mrs. Pate died Monday in the Fairfield hospital. She was born in Streetman, Texas, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.E. “Pete” Pate; and a son, Jerry Dee Pate. Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Douglas and Valerie Pate, Nevlin Pate and Randy and Kaye Pate, all of Buffalo, and Leroy and Wanda Pate of Athens, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Minnie and Floyd Stanton of Buffalo and Sue and Billy House of Tool, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
