BETTY JEAN PATE

Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist 
Church of Fairfield for Betty Jean Pate, 86, formerly of Fairfield who died
June 18 in Rockwall where she had been living since 2004.

Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Pate was born May 16, 1925, in Tulsa, OK to Robert Lee and Martha Jane
Walker Gammill.

On November 16, 1943, she married Glenn Hugh (Jack) Pate who preceded her in 
death on August 11, 1983.

She was a retired LVN, a member of the First United Methodist Church and a 
resident of Fairfield from 1953 until moving to Rockwall.

Mrs. Pate was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by son Gary Pate and wife Margie of Garland; grandsons Wayne 
Pate and wife Rebecca of New York City, NY and Kevin Pate of Los Angeles, CA;
and greatgrandchildren Zoe, Isabel and Charlie Pate, all of New York City.

Officiating services was the Reverend Alan Van Hooser.

Making arrangements was Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
