Hazel Irene (Mitchell) Patterson

Hazel Patterson

Hazel Patterson, 74, of Fredericktown (formerly Fairfield, Texas) died April 2,
2005 at Parkland Heath Center in Farmington, Missouri.

She was born January 29, 1931 in Wortham, Texas, a daughter of Mack Robert and
Viva Lee (Renshaw) Mitchell.

On June 26, 1946, in Texas, she was married to James Bernard Patterson who
preceded her in death on March 31, 1995.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Caroline Ann Patterson; and one
sister, Faye Gist.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by one son, Cecil Patterson of Houston, Texas; two
daughters, Shelby Conley of Fredericktown, Missouri and Annie Avey of Brazil;
one brother, Henry Mitchell of Kilgore, Texas; and two sisters, Letha Goolsby
of Bossier City, Louisiana and Jimmie Lou Jackson of Selman, Texas.

She had ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, and sewing.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, Texas.

Services were held April 6, 2005 at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield with
Pastor Terry Skinner officiating. Burial was at Richland Cemetery in Fairfield.

Missouri services arranged by Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.
