Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Teague Chronicle October 11, 2007 edition DOROTHY MARIE PERSON Mrs. Dorothy Marie Person, of Mexia, Texas, passed away at Parkview Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 3, 2007. She was 77 years old. Mrs. Person was born on July 19, 1930, in Groesbeck, Texas, to James Clinton and Desslar Rogers Outlaw. She was reared by her grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Ellen Outlaw of Groesbeck. She was a homemaker and devoted mother and wife who will be missed dearly. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia, Texas and Rebekkah Lodge. Funeral services for Mrs. Person were held on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia, Texas. Rev. James Hooper officiated and interment followed at Mexia Cemetery. Mrs. Person is survived by her husband James L. Person of Mexia; her sons Terry Wayne Person of Mexia and Stephen Person and wife Ruth Ann of Conroe; her daughter Barbara Shamblin and husband James David of Mexia; her grandchildren Keri Lynn Shamblin Allen and husband Brandon, David Cory Shamblin and Hannah Marie Person; her great grandchildren Bradley Mitchell Bailey and Benjamin Lucas Bailey, Taylor Ryanne Allen and Cole Riley Allen; her brother Claude Wendell Outlaw of Fairfield, her sisters-in-law Dickie and Violet Person of Georgewest and brother-in-law James Denton of Temple; many devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. Pallbearers for Mrs. Person were David Cory Shamblin, Brandon Allen, Michael Denton, Randy Wilson, Charles Wilson and Bill Bailey. Honorary pallbearer was Dr. Kenneth Russell. Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia was in charge of the arrangements.
