Betty Jean (Ivy) Pickett 

After a lengthy illness, Betty Jean Pickett passed away on December 17, 2012 in 
Fairfield. Mrs. Pickett was born to Fred and Leona Davis on March 16, 1928 in 
Freestone County. In 2003 she became the wife of Asa Pickett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Bradford Ivy.

She is survived by daughter, Nadine Ivy Phillips; granddaughter, Ivy Phillips; 
husband, Asa Pickett; step-son and his wife Cullen and Mandy Pickett and sister-
in-law, Doris Ivy Patrick.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Griffin-Roughton 
Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Driver 
Cemetery, Teague.
