Freestone County, Texas Obits Mozelle Elizabeth (Burleson) Pillans Mozelle B. Pillans Mozelle B. Pillans, 87, of Streetman passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000 at Navarro Regional Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Chapel. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Streetman with Rev. Wayne Mahoney officiating. Pallbearers will be Roger Pillans, Benny Pillans, Clell C. Young, Jr., Glenn Burleson, David Burleson and Jason Burleson. Mrs. Pillans was born Oct. 23, 1913 in Birdston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Streetman. She was a charter member of the Jose Antonio Navarro Chapter of the Republic of Texas, a charter member of the Col. Roger G. Mills Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy and a granddaughter and great-granddaughter of veterans of the confederacy of this chapter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie D. Pillans; her daughter, Patsy Elaine Hullum; her grandson, Terry Darden Hullum; her sister, Margaret Collum; and brothers Solon Haze Burleson and Van Gordon Burleson. Mrs. Pillans is survived by her son, Williams Gordon Pillans of Streetman; grandsons William Darden Pillans of Troy, Mont., James Gordon Pillans of Austin, Jonathan Paul Hullum of Spring and Ronald Leslie Hullum of Palestine; granddaughter Sherry Sue Pillans of Purdon; 15 great-grandchildren; five great- great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
