Willie Darden Pillans, 90, of Streetman died 1 June 1997 in Corsicana TX. Mr 
Pillans was born 9 April 1907 in Winkler TX, a native of Freestone County.

He was a son of Katie & Benjamin J Pillans of the Johnson and Darden families.
He was active in farming, ranching, and as a carpenter before retirement. He 
was a Deacon of the First Baptist Church, Streetman; he was very active in 
community activies as President of Winkler Water Supply and on the Board of 
the Birdston Cemetery Association, and other activities until he became in bad
healt in 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Mozelle Burleson Pillans of Streetman; son William
Gordon Pillans, Streetman; brothers B J (Jack) Pillans, Corsicana, Robert &
Wayne Pillans of Winkler; sisters Gertrude Young of Irving and Lillian 
Fullerton of Trinidad; grandsons, Jonathan Paul Hullum, Terry Darden Hullum,
Ronald Leslie Hullum, William Darden Pillans, James Gordon Pillans; 
granddaughter, Sherry Sue Pillans; great-grandchildren Michelle, Jessica Mae,
and William James Pillans, and Lisa Patina, Matthew and Daniell Hullum. Mr 
Pillans was preceded in death by his daughter, Pasty Elaine Hullum.
