JOE ED PINGLETON

Graveside services were held Saturday at Salem Cemetery near Freestone for Joe Ed 
Pingleton, 65 who died Feb. 17 at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.

Mr. Pingleton was born in Limestone county, but grew up in Freestone county and lived 
in Teague all of his life.

He worked for the State of Texas Highway Department for twenty years until his 
retirement, earning numerous awards.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Pingleton was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Pingleton and his sister Betty 
Mears.

He is survived by his mother Vergie Pingleton of Teague; son Tony Pingleton and wife 
Veronica of Fairfield; grandchildren Carol and Brandon Pingleton; numerous nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.

Officiating services was David Barns.

Making arrangements was Bowers Funeral Home of Teague.
