IRENE R. PONDER

Memorial services will be held Friday beginning at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist 
Church in Fairfield for Irene R. Ponder, 61, of Fairfield who died last Friday 
at her residence.

Mrs. Ponder was born November 27, 1948 in Mobile, Alabama to Raymond and Dolores 
White Coe.

She married Jon D. Ponder on April 25, 1978 in Denison.

Mrs. Ponder was a Fairfield resident starting in 1996, having moved from Austin.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Coe.

She is survived by her husband; three children, Misty Nowlin and husband Mike 
of Fairfield; Brandy Watson and husband Mike of Georgetown; Sgt. Stephan C. 
Ponder, USMC, of Camp LeJeune, NC; sister Penny Masters of Ohio; and four 
grandchildren.

Officiating services will be the Rev. Ken Pruitt.

Making arrangements is Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
