VELERA MAE POOL

Funeral Services for Ms. Velera Mae Pool were held Saturday, March 13, 2010, 
at Moore's Angelic Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. L. E. Chilton of Ft. Worth 
officiating.  Interment was in the Cotton Gin Cemetery.

Velera was born on September 22, 1945, in the Simsboro Community of Teague and
guaduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Teague.  She was employed 
by Texas Tech University in Lubbock and retired from the Lubbock State School
after 27 years of service.  She was a member of the Greater United Missionary 
Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Texas. The Angelic Hosts came for Ms. Pool in the
Kindred Hospital, Ft. Worth, Texas among loving family and devoted friends on 
March 9, 2010.

She is survived by her son, James Griffin, Ft. Worth, TX; a sister, Zella 
Ruth Pool, Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Cierra Griffin, Jeremiah Evans and 
Xander Griffin; special friend, Dora Perkins, Lubbock, TX, and a host of other
relatives and friends.

Moore's Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe Street, Teague, Texas, is serving 
the Pool Family.
