Mexia Daily News - Sep. 20, 2003 edition Kenneth Wayne "Snake" Posey TEAGUE - Graveside services for Kenneth Wayne (Snake) Posey, 74, will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Darrel Beggs, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Mr. Posey, who died Friday at his residence, was a member of First Baptist Church and graduated in 1948 from Teague High School. He joined the Marines at age 18. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bill Wiley of Granbury; a son and daughter-in-law, Rocky and Nannette Posey of Teague; eight grandchildren - Shawn, Rebecca, Julie, Christi, Vinita, Amber, Emily and Morgan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kimsey and Jean Posey, and Bodie and Audrey Posey, all of Teague; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Posey was preceded in death by his parents, Kimsey and Jewell Posey, and by a son, Duke Posey. The family will receive visitors this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home.
