Ruth (Teer) Pruitt

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Teer Pruitt, 93, of Mexia, will be conducted
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Porter Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends
Bruce Rudd and Scott Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Point Enterprise
Cemetery.

Mrs. Pruitt, who died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, in Parkview Regional Hospital, was
born in Freestone County on Nov. 19, 1911.

Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at the
funeral home.

Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by two sons, Peyton Pruitt and Bobby Joe
Pruitt; by a grandson, Donald Earl Wright; by a great-granddaughter, Deana Ruth
Wright, and by a great-grandson, Skyler Wright.

Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Wright and Wanda Wright, both of Point
Enterprise; a son, Curtis Pruitt of Phoenix, Arizona; grandsons - Danny Wright
and wife Joan of Point Enterprise, Stephen Wright and wife Terri of Point
Enterprise, Robert Pruitt of North Carolina, Glen Pruitt of South Carolina, Joe
Pruitt and John Pruitt, both of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughters - Jackie Darby
and husband Don of Mexia, Sharon Bozeman and husband William of Point
Enterprise, Cathy Grant of North Carolina, Elizabeth Pruitt of North Carolina,
April Pruitt of North Carolina, Michelle Strange and Melinda Pruitt of Phoenix,
Arizona; 23 great-granddaughters, 39 great-great-grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Stacy Wright, William Bozeman, Donald Darby, Bill Bozeman, Troy
Darby and Jayson Wright.
