Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder newspaper Dec. 11, 2008 William Hall Puckett Funeral services were held Friday for William Hall Puckett, 77, of Fairfield who died Tuesday, Dec. 2, at his residence. Mr. Puckett was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on Aug. 4, 1931. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Army Reserves. Mr. Puckett worked as an air traffic controller for the FFA and as a communication consultant for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, at Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield with Pastor Terry Skinner officiating. Interment followed at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas on Monday, Dec. 8. Mr. Puckett is survived by his wife of 50 years, Norma Puckett of Fairfield; daughters, Jeani and Reetie Puckett of Richardson; grandson, Anthony "Pudge" Rodriguez; granddaughter, Roxanne Butler and husband Jeremy; great- granddaughter, Ledia Butler and great-grandson, Grayson Butler.
