Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Obit for Randall Graham Pullin: FAIRFIELD RECORDER SEPTEMBER 5, 1968 FRONT PAGE Final Rites Held For Two Recent Accident Victims Funeral services were held for Randall G. Pullin, 24, and Donald Ray Jones, 32, brothers-in-law, Friday, August 30, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with interment following at Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin. The Rev. Norman Burk and the Rev. James M. Gardner officiated at the services. The two young men along with Mr. Jones’ son, Kerry Don, were riding in Mr. Pullins’ pick-up Wednesday night when it was in a collision with a 1966 Chevrolet approximately 6 miles north of Fairfield. Mr. Pullin and Mr. Jones died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash and Kerry Don is reported to be improving in Hillcrest hospital in Waco. Mr. Pullins was born November 21, 1943 in Freestone County. He was employed by Sun Ray Oil Co. He is survived by his wife, Bonnelle Pullin of Fairfield: his parents, Mr. & Mrs. U. B. Pullin of Huntsville: a grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Pullin of Streetman: two sisters Mrs. Verna Fair of Austin and Mrs. Marcia Jones of Fairfield. * I am leaving out Mr. Jones data for lack of * space* Pallbearers for Mr. Pullin were David Minchew, Wylie Minchew, Willie Ward, William Henry Cherry, Jimmy Orand and Roy Casey Jr. Honorary Pallbearer was John Bonner Jr.,serving with the U. S. Army. Capps Funeral home was in charger of arrangements.
