Henry David Rainer

Henry David Rainer, 88, of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at
East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today
at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague with the Rev. James Walker officiating. Mr.
Rainer was born July 20, 1912 in Farrah. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Lee Rainer; sons, Charles Henry
Rainer and William David Rainer; sisters, Laveda Gill and Ada Walker; and
brother, George Rainer. 

Mr. Rainer is survived by his daughter, Peggy Cooke and husband Richard and
Helen Diane Rainer, all of Groesbeck, Connie Sue Smith and husband Randall and
Paul Jean Ward, all of Fairfield; sons, Donnie Rainer and wife Annette of
Pasadena and Henry Dale Rainer of Conroe; brothers, W.D. Rainer and wife
Tootsie; sister, Iva Mae Ekins, Zalla Mae Ray and husband Bruce, all of
Houston; 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.
