CARROLL -- Richmond Taylor, age 74 years, died at the residence, 1909 Fourth
Ave., Saturday morning. Survived by wife, five sons. J.S. of Waco. Allen
of Alvarado, T.C., Ben F. and Henry M., all of Dallas; three daughters,
Mrs. Oscar Gamble, Cleburne; Mrs. J.G. Hickman of Sulphur Springs, Mrs.
Wesley Jackson of Bakersfield, Cal. Service at the George A. Brewer Funeral
Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Monday. Rev. Elsbury officiating. Interment in Forest.

Note: The wife of Richmond Taylor Carroll is Johnny Vaden Wigley, daughter
of Solomon Walker Wigley and Malinda Eveline Harrell. Richmond and Johnny
were married 21 Jul 1878 in Freestone County. His father, John Douglas
Carroll, is buried in Driver Cemetery.
