Don Wayne Reed 
(April 29, 2007 - January 18, 2007) 

Mr. Don Wayne Reed, 68 of Donie passed away Thursday January 18, 2007 in the 
Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck. 

He was born April 29, 1938 in Teague to Hollie and Ruth Lorine Slaughter Reed. 

Mr. Reed worked in the pipeline construction business for many years before
retiring and moving back home to pursue his interest in ranching. He proudly 
served his country in the United States Army. 

Mr. Reed is survived by a daughter and two granddaughters. He is also survived
by his brother and sister-in-law – Johnny and Allene Reed of Robinson and by 
his sister – Jeaneane Prichard of Donie. 

Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Blair-Stubbs 
funeral home chapel in Mexia with the Reverend J. R. Tapley officiating. Burial
will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Limestone County. Family visitation 
will be from 6 to 8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
