Fairfield Recorder - Apr 20, 2006 edition Bobby J. Reese Bobby James Reese, resident of Buffalo, died April 9 in his home town at the age of 75. Funeral services were held April 13 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Tommy Middlebrook, Dan Manuel and Jackie Thomason officiating. Interment followed at Lummus Cemetery in Leon county. Mr. Reese was born April 21, 1930 in Hillsboro, though he lived the rest of his life in Buffalo. He worked as a rancher, served in the U. S. Army Air Corps, and was a member of Buffalo Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Minnie P. Green Reese; sons Bobby Wayne Reese and wife Barbara and William Calvin Varner and wife Trina Ann all of Buffalo; daughters Debbie Lynn Varner of Marble Falls and Tammie Len Bruce and husband Dee of Buffalo; brothers Max Wayne "Buddy" Reese of Alvin, Kenneth Ray Reese of San Antonio, Edward Raymond Reese of Liverpool and Jesse Louis Reese of Alvin and sister Jeannie Carolyn Reese Rickets of San Antonio. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kimberly Rhodes and husband Revendy of Buffalo, Matthew Reese serving in Kuwait and wife Jackie of Buffalo, Valerie Bing of Huntsville, Amber and Ashlee LaFuente of Austin, Lauren Chambers of Buffalo, Tristan Bruce of Louisiana and Chelsea and Cameron Varner of Buffalo and his great grandchildren Kayliegh and Raeleigh Rhodes of Buffalo, Andrew Rhodes of Groesbeck and Alison Bing of Huntsville. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Cleveland Reese and Thelma Odessa Manning Reese. Pallbearers were David Norcom, Terry Coco, Jack Thomason, Sean Socona, Tommy Reese and John Stevens. Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home of Buffalo.
