Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Rosalina (Castillo) Regala August 22, 1922 - February 27, 2014 Rosalina C. Regala, 91, formerly of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Arlington. See service schedule below. Mrs. Regala was born August 22, 1922 in Iba, Zambales, Philippines; to parents Miguel and Rufina Bundang Castillo. She married Ricardo M. Regala on July 17, 1941 and he preceded her in death on January 5, 1988. Following WWII she was one of the first female Philippine immigrants to move to Detroit along with her husband. The family moved to Fairfield in 1976 and she had been a resident of Arlington for the last seventeen years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Arlington and previously St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Fairfield. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Franzen. Left to cherish her memory are seven children, Elizabeth Kleist of Arlington; Willie Regala of Sheboygan, WI; Tessie Percy and husband Christopher of Walnut Creek, CA; Lita Regala of Arlington; Lourdes Regala of Arlington; Daniel Regala and wife Edna of Dallas; Alexander Regala and wife Carolyn of Frisco; one sister, Cion Miclat of Iba, Zambales, Philippines; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
