Louise "Sissy" Respess

Louise "Sissy" Respess, 83, of Kirvin passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002 in
Kirvin. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel in Fairfield
with Brother Ed Ridge officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery
in Kirvin. Pallbearers will be R.B. Milligan, Rudy Lopes, Randy Turner, David
Robinson, Raymond Hogan, Buddy Robinson and Ken Sessions. 

Mrs. Respess was born Aug. 4, 1918 in Caney to Conda and Ophelia Driver Lopes.
She and her husband owned a grocery store in Kirvin for a number of years. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Audra Lee Respess in 1983; and sons,
Lynwood Lee Respess and Micheal Leslie Respess. 

Survivors include her granddaughter, Tamera Lynn Respess and husband Michael
Shawn Gray of Fairfield; great-granddaughters, Tara Gray and Taylor Gray, both
of Fairfield; sisters, Lucille Teer of Houston and Lula Horton of Fairfield;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
