JEWETT — Services for Christine M. Rhodes, 88, of Jewett are set for 10 a.m.
Saturday at Little Flock Baptist Church in Jewett. 

The Revs. Jimmy Petty of Teague Bible Church and Ray Grissett of Little Flock
Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Ricks Bowers Funeral Home in
Jewett, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Rhodes died Thursday at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia.

She was born in Jewett and worked as a supervisor in the food service
department at the Mexia State School for more than 25 years. She was a member
of the Little Flock Baptist Church and attended the Teague Bible Church.

Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Rhodes.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Hancock and Joe Dwain of
Lake Limestone; a sister-in-law, MesCal Holmes of Mount Sterling, Ky.; five
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
