Mexia Daily News - May. 25, 2004 edition Phyllis Ann (Allison) Richards Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Ann Richards, 65, of Coolidge, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Larry Holden of First Baptist Church-Coolidge, will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery (Freestone County). Mrs. Richards, born May 5, 1939, in San Antonio, died Sunday at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Richards, in 1993, and by a brother, Geary Allison, who died in 2000. Mrs. Richards, a Baptist and Homemaker, had resided for most of her life in Limestone and Freestone counties. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Roy D. and Annette Richards of Coolidge; a daughter, Elizabeth Richards of Coolidge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Steve Hayes of Mexia, Bobbie and James Walker of Coolidge. Also surviving are grandchildren - Andrew, Dustin, Ashley and Robert Richards, Stephen, Stephanie and Ryan Hayes, Edward, Jennifer and James Robert Walker; two brothers - Charlie Allison of Bryan and Joe Allison of Houston; and two sisters - Katherine Anderson and Jane Teer, both of Trinity. Pallbearers are Michael Brooks, Ernest Lopez, Jim Hayes, Bill Hayes, Bryan Trantham and Roger Anderson.
