Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder March 5, 1897 issue Young Locals March 1, 1897 Died - Miss Lizzie May Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Richardson, died Feb. 28 at Young. She was a good Christian girl loved by everyone. She was 19 years and 9 months old. She said she was ready to go and had her young friends sing her a couple of songs last Saturday night. The first was "Will You Miss Me When I Am Gone?" O, Yes! we do miss her. It is hard to give her up, but it is God's will. The other song was "Don't You Want to Be Ready to Go?" She was ready to go, but it is sad that we have to part with one of our friends who had just reached the bloom of life. "The Lord we have to part with one of our friends who had just reached the bloom of life. "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away." She told her dear mother that she was going to die, but she said she was going to meet our dear Lord in peace and love. She leaves a mother and father, two brothers and three sisters, several other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her loss. We can say to her relatives to trust God and meet her in heaven.
