Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Bowers Funeral Home and Fairfield Recorder - June 30th, 2007 edition Juanita Kirchner Richey (November 28, 1921 - June 21, 2007) Juanita Kirchner Richey Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Richey will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007, at 11:00a.m. at the Teague Church of Christ. Bro. Dale Mitchell will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Cotton Gin Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Richey passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at her residence in Teague. She was born in Carter, Oklahoma to George M. and Elva C. Rogers on November 28, 1921. She grew up and attended school in Gladewater, TX. She married Clarence Kirchner and shared fifty-six years together until being separated by his death. She married Fred Richey on May 31, 1997 and had just celebrated their ten year anniversary less than a month ago. She owned and operated Kirchner Insurance Co. in Teague for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Freestone County Art League. She loved artwork and her paintings won numerous awards. Mrs. Richey was a member of the Teague Church of Christ for sixty-six years. She is survived by her husband, Fred W. Richey of Teague; four sons, Clarence Henry Kirchner, Jr. & wife Gayle of Hollister, MO., Roger Kirchner & wife Christine of Round Rock, Stephen Kirchner of Imperial, PA., and Charles Lynn Kirchner of Houston; seven grandchildren, Whitney Kirchner Schmale, Heather Kirchner Hulen, Roger Kirchner II, Vanessa Kirchner, Brianna Kirchner, Stephen V. Kirchner, Jr., and Kimberly Kirchner; three great-grandsons ; one brother, Charles K. Rogers of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Richey was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Henry Kirchner, Sr. and two sisters, Norma Jean Norman and Dorothy M. Turner.
