Janie (Harris) Rikard 

Janie passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2005 in Deer Park Texas.  She was 97
years of age.  She still had the "old home place" in  Teague at the time of her
death.

She was born in Coolidge, Texas on November 12, 1907.  She was the daughter of
Henry Harris of Freestone Co.  She received her teachers degree at Sam Houston
University.  In 1944, she went to work for Armco Steel near Houston, Texas and
retired from Armco in 1972.  She raised five children in Galena Park, Texas.
