Carl Jackson Robertson Jr.

Carl Jackson Robertson Jr., 85, of Fairfield passed away Thursday, Feb. 21,
2002 at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Capps Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Buddy
Turner and the Rev. Wayne Middleton officiating. Interment will follow at
Antioch Cemetery in Freestone County.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Robertson, Russell Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Jay
Robertson, Matt Robertson and Ryan Robertson.

Mr. Robertson was born Feb. 6, 1917 in Turlington in Freestone County. He
retired in 1990 as a grocery store owner/operator. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lovie Robertson; son, Jack Robertson;
parents, Carl Jackson and Lela Robertson; and one brother.

Survivors include his sons, Danny Robertson and Bobby Robertson of Fairfield
and Billy David Robertson of Athens; sister, Thelma Bonner of Fairfield; 12
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
