William Lloyd Robinson Funeral services were held this week for William Lloyd Robinson, 90, of Streetman who died Sunday, Nov. 11 at his home. Mr. Robinson was born Sept. 22, 1917 in Streetman to James Pressly and Jesse Lewis Robinson. He served in the United States Army during World War II in Burma, China and India. Mr. Robinson was a member of Kirvin Baptist Church and enjoyed playing dominoes and fishing. Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with Wyatt Tisdale and James Huffstetler officiating. Burial was at St. Elmo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Griffin, Robert Cockrell, Tommy Bonner, Bill Baker, Joe Neal Baker, Tim Chamberlain and Steve Chamberlain. Mr. Robinson is survived by wife Tiny M. Robinson of Streetman; children James Robinson of Mesquite, Johnny Robinson of Streetman, Mary Croft, Betty Wilcoxin, Donna Bellah, Thomas Griffin, Nancy McDaniel, Lisa Burkhalter and Linda Butler; 31 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and sister, Mammie Le Lavender. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Elmo Cemetery Association of Streetman. Arrangements by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home of Fairfield.
