WAYNE HARVELL ROBINSON

Mr. Wayne Harvell Robinson, of Houston, Texas, passed away on September 21, 
2007, in Houston, Texas. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Robinson was born on November 29, 1926, to Sina Blanche Johnson Robinson 
and William E. Robinson in Houston, Texas. He was the third child born to that
union. Mr. Robinson was a master plumber for 50 years and did business as 
Robinson Plumbing Company in the Houston area. He retired in March of 2003. 
Around 1960 Wayne and his family became members of the Trinity Lutheran Church
and his children received their education through the eighth grade at this 
church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II from
January 1944 to January 1946.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson were held on Monday, September 24, 2007, at 
Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel, Thornton, Texas.

Rev. Tracy Sims officiated with interment following the service at Kosse 
Cemetery.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary J. Cherry Robinson, his
sons Wayne H. Robinson, Jr. and Steven Shea Robinson and wife Suzanne; his 
daughters Cherry Ann Phegley and husband Michael and Elizabeth Renee Colwell and
husband Danny, his grandsons Adam Shea Robinson and wife Katie and Ryan Daniel
Colwell and his granddaughters Kimberly Renee Colwell and Lacie Suzanne Robinson 
Deming and husband Kevin, his great grandchildren Lawson Shea Robinson and Kodi
Nicole Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his brother John T. Robinson 
and his sister Maebelle Robinson Wells.


Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Thornton was in charge of the arrangements.
