Freestone County, Texas Obituaries From Capps Funeral Home website: Lola Jo Robinson DECEMBER 23, 1921 - FEBRUARY 18, 2012 BIOGRAPHY Lola Jo Robinson, 90, of Fairfield, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Fairfield. Mrs. Robinson was born December 23, 1921 near Streetman; to parents Walter and Linnye Thompson Owens. She was a lifetime area resident and a retired doctor’s nurse having worked for Dr. Crossno, Dr. Keller and with Miss Pat for many years. She married Jack T. Robinson in July of 1940 and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2011. She was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church, Chapter 331 O.E.S. and the Freestone Art League. Mrs. Robinson especially loved her cats. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Tommy Robinson, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are two children, Tommy Robinson and wife Patricia of Fairfield; Linda Carroll and husband Donald of Streetman; grandchildren, Amy Carroll Farrar; Penny Robinson Meredith; Bret Carroll; great-grandchildren, Collin Puckett; Keil Meredith; Cade Carroll; Jake Farrar; Jordan Farrar Josh Farrar.
