Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder - Dec. 8, 1905 issue To The Memory of Little Kate "Another little flower taken, To brighten our home in heaven, Another little anchor carried, By angels to the quite heaven, Another sweet tie to draw us, Nearer to Him who loved us." Mary Kate, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Robinson, was born April 11, 1901, and died Oct. 14, 1905. Four short years budded on earth to bloom in heaven. A sweet little life has flown from this world of sorrow; a bright and beautiful life, so full of joy that its presence gave delight to those around her. Since her mamma's death, November 18, 1904, she would often say, she wanted to go to heaven to see her Mamma, and the words were echoed and our Heavenly Father sent the angel Mother to carry her baby to be on everlasting picture to adorn that "city not made by hands". For eleven ? months she and a sister, older, have made their home with their Grandma Grayson, who filled the place of mother. It was so sudden the dear ones said, How we shall miss her, the beautiful dead, O! How lonely, since little Kate was laid to rest, but grieve not dear ones, for God knows best.
