The Bryan/College Station Eagle Marilyn Rodell Aug. 31, 1960 — Sept. 17, 2000 CENTERVILLE — Services for Marilyn Rodell, 40, of Centerville are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Centerville. The Revs. Larry Ashley and Gil Lain will officiate. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. Ms. Rodell died Sunday. She was born in Fairfield, Texas, and was a 1978 graduate of Centerville High School. She worked for Texas A&M University, the Brazos County Appraisal office, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Huntsville, Texas, and was a secretary to the chief of police in Huntsville. For the last seven years she worked with the Department of Public Safety in Pasadena, Texas, in the driver’s license division as a technician. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville. Survivors include her parents, Teddy Ray and Anna Jane Rodell of Centerville; a grandmother, Willie Mae Payne of Centerville; a daughter, Jessica Liane Bruno of Centerville; a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Marie Rodell of Centerville; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Trey Kirkpatrick of Bryan; four nieces; a nephew; and a great-niece.
