Graveside Services Held March 15 for Pedro Rodriguez 

Graveside services for Pedro Rodriguez, 75, of Mexia were held on Wednesday,
March 15 in Mexia Cemetery with Rev. Mario Rivera officiating. 

Mr. Rodriguez was born April 22, 1930 in Tilden, Texas and passed away on March
12, in the local hospital. He was a janitor at a junior high school for 16
years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Paula Rodriguez; four
brothers and sisters: Joe Rodriguez, Santos Rodriguez, Maria Luia Rodriguez and
Teresa Rodriguez and a daughter, Dana Maxwell. 

He is survived by his wife, Concepcion Rodriguez of Mexia and children: Janie
Zavala, Pedro Rodriguez, Jr. and Mark Rodriguez, all of Mexia; Mary Foster of
Memphis, Texas and Isabel Rodriguez of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Brandi
Rodriguez, Elizabeth Zavala, Davanta Drew, James Rodriguez, Damon Pickens,
Patrick Rodriguez, J.C. Henderson, William Pickens, Shelicka Pickens, Krystal
Coburn, Michael Garza, Steven Rodriguez, Brian Maxwell, Ben Rodriguez and John
Rodriguez; great-grandchildren: Elijah Garza and Madison Rodriguez. 

Pallbearers were Steven Rodriguez, Michael Garza, Brian Maxwell, Ben Rodriguez,
John Rodriguez and Joey Serna. 

Blair-Stubbs Mexia was in charge of arrangements.
