Deborah Kaye New-Rodriguez Funeral services were held last week for Deborah New-Rodriguez, 46, of Fairfield who died Sunday, Nov. 4. Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Luling on May 30, 1961. Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Mize officiating. Burial followed at Luling City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy Harris, Bob Maddox, Steve McMahon, John Wilson, Steve Yohn and Michael Warren. Mrs. New-Rodriguez is survived by husband Severiano Rodriguez, Jr. of Fairfield; son Matthew New-Rodriquez of Fairfield; grandmother Loys Shelton of Luling; father Wayne New and wife Linda of Spring; sister Sharon Fordyce and husband Tom of Huntsville; nephew Tyler Fordyce of Huntsville; niece Lauren Fordyce of Huntsville and in-laws Serveriano and Sidera Rodriguez of Luling. She is preceeded in death by mother Shirley New; grandparents Wallace Shelton and MC and Ida Mae New. Funeral services for Mrs. Rodriguez were held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Fairfield. Rev. Benny Mize conducted the services and burial was at Luling City Cemetery on Thursday, November 8, 2007.
